Target for Impact

We recruit youth from these priority communities where our program can make the greatest impact. These neighborhoods are selected because they are historically under-served, resulting in high rates of youth unemployment, poverty, juvenile crime, and low graduation rates. We aim for transformative impact by investing in young people through workforce development and opportunity.

We believe this impact can translate to the neighborhood level as we take our program to scale. As our ability to employ youth expands, our priority communities will also expand. All young people are encouraged to apply. Those who are residents of the priority communities will take precedence.

eligibility

All young people in St. Louis City and County, ages 14-24, are encouraged to apply. If we have availability, we will contact those that reside outside of the priority list. Please note, county residents are only eligible to participate in our summer programming. If you’re not sure which area you live in, our application verifies your address at the beginning to let you know if you are eligible to proceed with completing the application.
